It’s at BCNC, an organization I really believe in and support as much as I can. A very good friend works there as head of fundraising and the organization has been really good to my husband over the years, mostly as he was a little kid growing up in Chinatown.
One of the reasons I like this so much is because it’s not at an adoptee organization. It’s at an Asian American organization that has been helping Asian American families (elderly, children, students, etc.) now for over 40 years. Granted I’m not a Chinese adoptee, but it would be cool to do this stuff for Korean adoptees. . .
