Boston Korean Adoptees Anniversary Conference (our 10th year!)
14-17 August 2014
For months now I have been helping to plan the 2014 conference for Boston Korean Adoptees. I’m working with a great group of people and so far it’s been a lot of fun. We’re really excited; there’s going to be some great innovative discussions and ideas that I hope Korean adoptees from all over the world will be a part of.
We’re aiming to make this conference inclusive of all Korean adoptees; old and young, those who are very familiar with issues related to Korean adoption, and those who don’t know anything about it. If you haven’t yet started– or even thought about starting–your discovery process, I encourage you to attend. In addition to being on the general planning committee I’m also on a sub-committee that will be choosing and coordination the sessions for the conference and we aim to have material for all areas of the spectrum; for those who’ve been there, done that and know adoptee issues inside and out, and those who are coming to this stuff blind.
It’s less than a year away so mark your calendars! It’ll be a great chance to meet adoptees (and hear their stories) from all over the world.
