Consider yourself invited, especially my transracial adoptee friends, to KADtalk’s 2-year anniversary celebration! (I started and run KADtalk for Boston Korean Adoptees.)
Makeshift in the South End, 549 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA
I’ll be telling the story of why I started the group and introducing my friend Matthew Salesses, http://matthewsalesses.com/ who will be reading from his new book The Hundred Year Flood.
I created KADtalk so that Korean adoptees (KADs) can come together to explore the Korean adoptee experience. We read books by KAD and Korean Americans and watch films about transracial adoption, and we meet to talk about them, in turn sharing our own stories and building community.
Come to celebrate Korean adoptee stories. Come out to celebrate an amazing Korean adoptee writer/writer of color. Come out to support me. Come out to hangout with fun people. Just come!
